Anastasia Karanikolaou insists women shouldn’t be ashamed of cosmetic surgery

Young Hollywood are all for cosmetic surgery – and they have no qualms about making this fact public.

This is especially true for model and social media siren Anastasia Karanikolaou. The ‘It Girl’ – who lists Kylie Jenner as one of her best friends – boasts 189,000 followers on Twitter and a whopping 2.2million fans on Instagram.

Just last month, she used these platforms to let people know that she was treating herself to a bit of work. The 19-year-old shared a picture in the midst of a surgical consultation in Beverly Hills, along with the caption: “So excited to have met with @drghavami to discuss something I’ve been thinking about for a while! Anastasia has now revealed that she arranged for the consultation after becoming unhappy with her breasts. The web star told Harper’s Bazaar: “I used to have the cutest, perkiest boobs when I was young. Someone had told me that if you wear an underwire bra it makes your boobs sag. I had cute boobs so I would never wear a bra. Over time, I found out that whoever told me that was completely wrong.”

The popular teen eventually decided that she would undergo a breast lift rather than a breast enlargement and the work was carried out last month. Dr. Ashkan Ghavami performed the procedure after having previously operated on celebrities such as Iggy Azalea.
